In the Kyrgyz Republic, 48 coal deposits have been registered, with total reserves amounting to 1.7 billion tons. This data is presented in the National Energy Program of the country, which is planned until 2035. The main coal reserves are concentrated in basins such as South Fergana, Uzgen, North Fergana, Kavak, Torugart, and Issyk-Kul.
